The Korean Heritage Scholarship Foundation, formerly known as the American Korean Edward Lee Scholarship Foundation, is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, CA.
Established in 1993, the foundation was initially funded by the government of the Republic of Korea to support the education of children affected by the 1992 Los Angeles riots. Since then, it has awarded over $905,500 in scholarships to 818 qualified college or college-bound students, with the application process starting in April and the awards presented in June each year.
