History
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Since 1936, the Lomita-Harbor City Kiwanis Club has provided volunteer and financial support to programs for youth, seniors, and community members throughout our area. Funds raised from Lomita Kiwanis Hall rentals are reinvested into the community. We support a variety of causes in the South Bay such as the Boy Scouts, the Boys and Girls Club of the South Bay, Service Leadership Programs such as Key Club and KIWINs at Narbonne High School and Harbor Teacher Preparation Academy, Lomita Sheriff and Fire Explorers, area schools, and other non-profits in our community.
