HistoryPrior to giving my studio a name, I was teaching a handful of students on the side. I approached teaching as a nice hobby to have in addition to my day job. It wasn't until I started the training program with Simply Music that I began to see that this program offered, not only endless possibilities for students, but also the potential of actually going into business, expanding the number of students I could teach and giving up my day job. In June of 2007, I did just that. I quit my job and focused on building a studio. Since then, I've expanded my numbers from 10 students to 43. It's been a steady, manageable growth that has worked well for me. The name - Rhythm 'n You - was born from the belief that I readily adopted from Simply Music - EVERYONE is profoundly musical. Everyone has an innate sense of rhythm and musicality that is experienced on a daily basis. My job is to help you discover your musicality, your undeniable mastery over rhythm. Let the journey begin!SpecialtiesOur Student Program completely redefines what it means to learn piano, and has students of all ages playing great-sounding blues, contemporary, classical and accompaniment pieces - immediately - from their very first lessons. Our Teacher Training Program looks at music learning in an entirely new light. This not only redefines the very nature of what it means to be a piano teacher, but also redefines who is capable of successfully teaching music. The Simply Music program sets a new standard in music education, and explores learning piano, playing piano and teaching piano from a completely different perspective. It presents the possibility of a new era of results in music education, learning and self-expression.
