The Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, Inc. is a woman's organization dedicated to promoting benevolent works and voluntarism in the East Bay Area and Lamorinda. The group is committed to developing the potential of women and improving communities through effective action. For the past 75 years, the league has operated in the East Bay, and their members have contributed more than seven million volunteer service hours, and successfully launched a number of successful non-profit groups created to benefit local children and women.
The East Bay League chapter boasts a membership of about 600, and maintains offices in Lafayette.
