Galway Downs is also the Southern California Equestrian Center. It features a variety of horse events including show jumping, cross-country, dressage and course walk, with prominent events such as Galway Downs International Three-Day Event. The tracks feature a new cutting harrow for its mile track and are prepared with an all-weather surface. The mile racetrack is prepared for use six days a weeks, with the training gate available six days a week. The Galway Downs is an international 3-day event with an opportunity to learn how to ride and care for horses from experts such as Ian Stark, Emily Sandier, Paul McClellan and Roger Haller. The event features dressage, cross-country jumping and show jumping.
