The headquarters for the five member Tribal Council of the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians, Acjachemen Nation of Orange County, is located in the Old Fire Station Recreation Complex, next to the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to being a gathering and meeting place, the space also is home to artifacts and brochures and other informational pamphlets.
The Council's meetings, open only to tribal members, are held here under the direction of Chairman Anthony Rivera Jr. Each council member serves a four year term to help govern 1,941 tribal members.
