History
I have been teaching in some capacity for nearly two decades. From 2004-2010, while still working as a a full-time journalist, I also worked as a part-time SAT/ACT tutor for several Bay Area test prep companies. In 2010, I left the newspaper industry to launch my own tutoring business and have been working as a full-time reading and writing coach ever since. I currently teach about 25 small group and 1:1 classes per week. Over the past 17 years, I have helped hundreds of students reach their reading and writing goals.
Specialties
