The friendly, down-home atmosphere in this cozy nook of an eatery is apparent in the hand-lettered "Roll of Fame" menu on one wall of the dining room. It features sushi rolls that were designed or suggested by long-time regular customers. The lineup changes weekly. The house menu is innovative too, featuring such non-traditional items as Tuna Surfboards with fried eggplant and avocado. The decor amid the blond wood furniture and bar is minimalist; the accent here is on conviviality as the night wears on and, of course, the vast array of menu choices.
