Jackson Hearing Center is part of the Palo Alto Unified School District and is dedicated to serving oral and hearing impaired students from preschool through high school.
Housed at Fairmeadow Elementary School, Jackson emphasizes learning to talk by maximizing auditory skills. The program largely revolves around speech, language and auditory training. All children here have cochlear implants or hearing aids.
A dedicated team of high training specialists and aides have helped the center earn the Alexander Graham Bell Association's prestigious Centennial Award as an outstanding auditory/oral program.
