History
Based on the values of simple recipes and distinctive flavors, Jackie's Jams was started by Jackie in the early 2000s as a single stand at the Ocean Beach farmer's market. A few years later, this is where our story with Jackie's Jams began: our son Jonah sampled her illustrious tripleberry jam, he refused to eat sandwiches with anything else! And so we went to Jackie's stand at the farmers markets week after week, accruing glass jars and keeping a happy son! After a few years and many visits with Jackie at the Farmer's Market, we became inspired to take the reins of the Jackie's Jams steering it in the direction that Jackie intended. Jackie's Jam is our passion and are grateful for the opportunity to continue the legacy of crafting all natural jams and jellies.
Specialties
Jackie's Jams crafts jams and jellies the old-fashioned way, by hand and using only natural ingredients. Created with locally grown fruits whenever possible from farmers throughout Southern California, we take time preparing our small handmade batches of jams, jellies, and marmalades, by slow cooking each to fully extract the exceptional flavors and gemlike hues real fruit has to offer. You'll never find any artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup in our jam!
