History
I immigrated to the United States from the Soviet Union, where i was a classically trained musician. Upon arrival to the US, I started working on pianos as an employee of a piano dealer in Los Angeles in 1974. In 1977, I decided to start my own piano tuning and repair business. I also attended the American Institute of Piano Technology in Los Angeles from 1977 to 1985. During this time I became a field expert for Steinway, Yamaha and Kawai Pianos. In that role i was contacted by the corporate headquarters of those companies to troubleshoot pianos in the greater Los Angeles area.
Specialties
Isaac's Piano Service has been in business for 36 years in the greater Los Angeles area. I specialize in the tuning and repair of all brands and models of pianos. I maintain a large inventory of piano parts and supplies in my full-size fan, and i am ready to resolve any issues your piano may have. If repairs cannot be performed on-site, I operate a full-scale shop for re-conditioning, re-building, and any other complicated repairs. I have been servicing many large business accounts for the past couple decades. My clients include Las Virgenes, Beverly Hills, and Burbank School Districts, Occidental College, Mt. St. Mary's College, Jonathon Club, and many churches, synagogues, hotels, piano teachers, and students. I am a proud member of the Piano Technicians Guild since 1975 and have passed three rigorous exams in piano tuning, repair, and regulation. I have also served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the PTG.
