Interstate Battery got its start in the spring of 1950 when John Searcy began selling and delivering car batteries to wholesalers from the back of his red Studebaker pickup truck. By the 1980s, Interstate had distributorships in every one of the 50 states. Today the company provides batteries for everything from electronics and cell phones to watches and toys. The company even processes the recycling of old batteries. Visit the Interstate Batteries website for a complete list of items sold.
