Founded in 2002, Institute for the Study of Western Civilization is a learning center that provides teaching of the western tradition. Based in Cupertino, Calif., it also offers occasional public lectures at the institute on various subjects with emphasis on art. The center provides tools and methods to local secondary school educators on the courses and programs. Its syllabus covers Modern France, History of France, Making of the Western Minds and History of the Jews. The Institute for the Study of Western Civilization hosts various cultural and educational events during the year as well as offer art exhibits featuring the work of local painters. Additionally, it offers various programs for enrollment, such as courses, special event, exhibitions, lectures and films.
