HistoryJoymode was founded in the summer of 2015 during an epic heatwave. Based in downtown Los Angeles, we work and play in a Willy Wonka-esque warehouse filled with giant Jenga sets, old-fashioned popcorn machines and movie projectors, camping gear, pool floats, and stand-up paddle boards. Joymode's goal is to help create a world where what you do isn't limited by what you own. We want to be defined by our experiences, not our possessions. We believe that ownership shouldn't be a limitation of what you can do. We want people to have happier lives, ones filled with unique experiences shared with our friends and family, that don't require buying more things.
