Homestead High School, established in 1962, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges and is affiliated with the Fremont Union High School District. The school s curriculum includes English, business studies, mathematics, science, history, modern language, and robotics and computer science. The extracurricular activities offered to students include the National Honor Society, performing arts, school newspaper, band, orchestra, music, choir, and yearbook and dramatics. The school s athletic teams are known as Mustangs, and it offers various sports activities, such as water polo, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, softball, baseball, swimming, and track and field. Homestead High School has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students and is located in Cupertino, Calif.
