The mission of the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council (CHNC) is to foster a spirit of collaboration between residents, the business community and members of the community to enhance Hollywood's quality of life. The purpose of the council is to review development or policy issues that affect specific neighborhoods in Hollywood. The CHNC meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the Community Room of the Hollywood Neighborhood City Hall, located at Fountain and Wilcox Avenues. The council oversees all area neighborhood councils, including the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council, the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council, the East Hollywood Neighborhood Council and the Greater Griffith Park Neighborhood council.
