The Hollywood Palladium on Sunset Boulevard opened its doors the night before Halloween in 1940 with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and his featured vocalist, Frank Sinatra. The dance hall is still used for performance events today. The stage where Betty Grable sang to World War II servicemen and where the Ramones and Led Zeppelin rocked out is able to accommodate the large and technically complex productions of today's superstar acts. Yet longtime fans can attest to the preservation of the original aesthetic with the tastefully updated interior and exterior areas. The venue is enormous with a huge dance floor and several bars for your drinking pleasure.
