Anne E. Ray, MD
The moment you meet Dr. Anne Ray, it is evident that she is passionate about her role as a physician. She attributes her interest in medicine to her father who is a physician and her mother who served as a doula. It is no wonder that growing up in a family focused on others has produced a physician committed to patient-centric, high quality health care. As a board-certified family medicine physician, Dr. Ray specializes in the health and wellbeing of young families. She enjoys treating whole families which includes newborns to grandparents and everyone in between and finds immense joy in helping patients of all ages. She views her role as both a listener and an educator. She relies on her patients to share what is most important to them and utilizes the latest in evidence-based medicine to provide solutions and recommendations. Dr. Ray approaches each day with enthusiasm and optimism as she truly enjoys what she does. As she states it best, “Medicine allows me to marry my love for science with my love for people.” Dr. Ray received her medical degree from University of California, San Francisco and completed her residency at University of Utah Department of Family and Preventative Medicine. She has special interests in women’s health, pediatrics and pre- & post-natal care. When she is not at the office, Dr. Ray enjoys spending time with her husband, a physician at Hoag, and four children. She also maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys yoga and riding her Peloton.
