History
We are a group of EMS educators who realized that promoting clinical excellence and creating an enjoyable experience for our students are not mutually exclusive goals. In fact, we believed the opposite: students who are relaxed in class will be better able to apply what they learn in a clinical setting. For us, this represents a paradigm shift for EMS and healthcare education in the Bay Area. As a result, Healthcare and Public Safety Education was established in 2012 to meet the needs of healthcare providers who want to improve their skills by learning about evidence based medicine in a low stress and comfortable environment. Our instructors come from a variety of clinical and teaching backgrounds. We have instructors who have taught for Fast Response, the SFPA, Unitek College, and the IPS Emergency Training Institute. Our staff includes RNs, Paramedics and EMTs who have a passion for teaching.
