Head Start is one of the programs of the child and family development programs of the Community Counseling Center. It is a child development program serving more than 400 children from low-income families and pregnant women. It is both a center-based and home visiting program. Its center-based child development services are provided in two forms, such as part-year and full-year services. The home visiting program is family-focused and employs home visitors to serve more than 40 families. Its services include family literacy and special program for children with physical disorders. It provides family literacy service to families and children through trained parent family literacy apprentices and youth mentors.
