We provide urgent care, wellness exams, nutritional counseling, parasite testing and prevention, on-site diagnostics, allergy testing, anesthesia, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, integrative medicine and pain management for dogs and cats. Hayward Animal Clinic offers Cryosurgery for pets to remove unwanted skin growths or masses. A simple, quick, and efficient way of removing small benign skin growths. The Cryo-Probe delivers precise and effective freezing treatments to eliminate small growths, usually without the need of full anesthesia. Minor sedation may be needed depending on the pet and where the mass is located. Depending on the size of the mass, most will diminish and fall off within 2-3 weeks, some discoloration is normal. Some masses do require multiple treatments.
