Stephanie E. Hayman, M.S, L.Ac., has earned an MS degree in Chinese Medicine from Samra University in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently certified (both nationally and by the State of California) to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. Her advanced training includes: Clinical Internship @ China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China, extensive coursework in the practice of shonishin, a pediatric acupuncture technique, Acupuncture Orthopedics from Lerner Education at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, CA: and Clinical Internship @ Cri-Help Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Facility in Los Angeles, CA.
Specialties
As a primary health care practitioner, I see many patients with a wide variety of conditions. I frequently treat patients for pain and injuries, fatigue, fertility, stress and anxiety, allergies, digestive disorders, menopause and hormonal issues, weight loss, depression, fertility and pregnancy-related issues, and overall well being. I also offer a monthly Children's Wellness Day to keep kids healthy. I practice shonishin, a gentle form of acupuncture (usually needleless) that is effective, quick, and well received by babies and children.
