Napa's newest middle school was reborn from the ashes of the city's last junior high, Ridgeview, which closed its doors decades ago. The once-crumbling westside campus has been completely modernized with funding from facilities bonds approved by Napa voters in the 2000s and is now home to two schools: Harvest, a traditional middle school in the Napa Valley Unified School District and River School, the district's only charter middle school.
