History
Upon the retirement of Dr. Donald Swartz, Dr. Dean A Robinson was excited to step in and continue chiropractic care of his patients. Dr. Robinson and Dr. Swartz have been friends and colleagues for over 13 years, and practiced together in Valley Center in 2000 and 2001.
Specialties
Dr. Robinson specializes in Chiropractic Orthopedics and Rehabilitation and treats conditions of the neck, back, hands, feet, arms and legs. He is a huge proponent of rehabilitation which is often times overlooked. Dr. Robinson's goal is to offer a customized treatment strategy through alternative healthcare, including acupuncture, massage therapy and physical therapy. However, he routinely works with medical professionals such as orthopedic surgeons and neurologists when medically appropriate, and has a respectable professional relationship with a network of physicians in North County. Although he has been practicing chiropractic for over 35 years, Dr. Robinson admits there is always something to learn, and his education history is notable. Dr. Robinson was licensed to practice Chiropractic in California in 1977, and he obtained a post-graduate degree in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1987. He also holds numerous post-graduate certifications. Susie Orenstein-Turner, L.Ac, MPA was licensed in acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the California Acupuncture Board in November of 2003. She received her Master's in Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego, and began her course work at the New York PCOM campus. Susie received a Masters degree in Public Administration from the Cornell Institute for Public Affairs where she studied Health/Science Policy.
