Founded in 1963, Hale Middle School is a single-track school that provides learning opportunities to students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, mathematics, physical education, social studies and science. The school involves students in chess, art, Christian, drama, magic and Judaic clubs. It offers special education, bilingual and English Language Learners programs. The school also provides opportunities to participate in a variety of athletic activities, such as football, soccer and basketball. It additionally participates in the federal lunch and breakfast programs that provide meals to students. Hale Middle School is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District and is located in Woodland Hills, Calif.
