History
The Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay (GPTMR) was established in 2013 and is the only distance relay race in Los Angeles. In 2016 an 8K event was added. Filling a void for local runners, the GPTMR draws a diverse group of runners embodying the rich diversity of Los Angeles. The race builds camaraderie among teams while fostering a friendly, competitive spirit. It has become an event that Angelenos look forward to every year.
