In the mid 1980's, Alain and Yolanda were both employed in Aerospace manufacturing industry. Alain was employed as a Quality Assurance Inspector, and Yolanda was in Finance. But, in the 1990's the Aerospace industry suffered, and both Alain and Yolanda were laid off within a year of each other. Both identified as dislocated workers, Alain recognized the need for his own business. He immersed himself in studying businesses, looking for the right fit that would provide quality and world class service, as well as have the potential to grow. Alain found what he was looking for in the Carpet and Restoration Industry. He chose the name AYC ( Alain & Yolanda Cummings ) to represent the pride in everything they do. Now the whole family is involved ; Daniel and Eric are serving as IICRC certified technicians and Vanessa and Christina are assisting in office duties and marketing. AYC is known for its professionalism, its thorough cleaning systems, and its knowledge and skill. AYC's integrity and character are defined by its dedication to furthering its education and certifications through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certifications, better known as the IICRC. In addition, AYC acquires the latest technology in equipment and utilizing environmentally friendly products..
