Established in 1998, Golden West Humanitarian Foundation is a non-profit charity engaged in providing solutions for operational limitations encountered by the humanitarian mine action community. Based in Woodland Hills, Calif., the organization engages in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), engineering and training. It further engages in detection technologies, explosive harvesting system, munitions cutting, small arms destruction, expert consultancy, mine risk education and more. Golden West Humanitarian Foundation works with governments, the UN, Mine Action Centers and NGOs and has addressed critical shortfalls in the heavily mine-impacted countries of Angola, Azerbaijan, Iraq and Mozambique.
