History
George Bones Ranch, established in 1918, is a third generation pear farm. The Bartlett pear orchards planted in 1924 by George R. Bones, Sr. are still producing sweet, juicy fruit. The farm was passed to the second generation in the 1970s to George R. Bones, Jr. and wife Dorothy. George Bones Ranch is now being operated by the third generation, Denece Bones Parsons and husband Terry Parsons. Fruit is picked fresh from the orchard and sold at the fruit stand daily during the harvest season.
