History
In 2011, after she spent an entire day making chicken soup, (Garlic Press) Jess realized she should probably be working in food. In 2012, she got her dream job at Revolution Foods, an Oakland-based company that makes healthy lunches for schools. Jess spent three transformative years there, working in schools across the Bay Area and around the US, and she witnessed firsthand the importance of teaching healthy eating habits from a young age. In late 2015, during a 3-month adventure working on a coffee farm in Hawaii, Jess realized that even after 6 hours/day of farming, she still wanted to spend another 3 hours cooking. Now, Jess gets to spend almost all her time in the kitchen, inspiring others through her practical home cooking lessons.
