History
GAP Youth Training Services, Inc. was founded in 1998. Jean-Marie Jobs pooled her efforts with several pastors and psychologists create the original GAP training tailored for youth 14-18 years old. The training is designed to address identity, purpose, individuation and connection needs and development. In addition, GAP Youth is committed to supporting family relationships by fostering a deeper sense of intimacy, honesty, appreciation and gratitude between youth and their parents and siblings. In 2012, GAP Youth broadened their focus to become GAP Community. GAP Community is committed strengthening communities by developing character in individuals. By working with both adults and teens, we capture the full expression of communities and stand with individuals to craft a legacy worth leaving.
Specialties
GAP Community offers one- to four-day trainings that illuminate new ways of thinking and acting so you can reach your vision - at home, at work, and in your community. The trainings provide interactive exercises, facilitated debriefs, and opportunities to explore and challenge what you believe about yourself, others, and your circumstances. This heightened awareness allows you to gain powerful insights into how those beliefs determine your day-to-day choices. The insights you gain at a training empowers you to determine whether these beliefs are supporting your vision or if they are actually working against you to sabotage the future you have declared that you want. At GAP Community, we believe there is an inherent desire within each of us to experience love and to be love, to wake up to a purpose each day, and to fulfill that purpose and leave a lasting mark on the lives of others. GAP Community is committed to creating opportunities in those areas in a way that is unprecedented - a never before seen future that is unique to you. GAP Community is an organization based on faith in Jesus and on the foundational principles of scripture such as love, hope, and forgiveness. Our trainings are open to those of all ages, backgrounds, faiths, and professions. The GAP trainings, seminars, and workshops are for anyone who has a vision for something new in their home, work, and community. We have trainings for teens of high school age, as well as adult trainings.
