Friends Christian School, founded in 1975, exists as a ministry of the Yorba Linda Friends and Rose Drive Friends Churches to provide educational programs to students from grades kindergarten through eight. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It offers various schools, such as Friends Christian Middle School, Friends Christian Elementary School, Little Friends Preschool & Kindergarten and Lakeview Preschool & Kindergarten. Its schedule provides weekly chapels, science classes, perceptual training, and vocal and instrumental music. It also offers computer lab, library and physical education intramurals. The school organizes fund-raising programs, such as golf tournaments, car washes, snack shack and fun food Fridays. It also provides community discount cards and Krispy Cr me partnership cards.
