History

George Radanovich opened George's Fremont House in 1956. His son, Mike, worked at the Fremont House from the time he was a teenager, and took over the store after his dad died in 1996. Today, Mike continues George's legacy of providing quality clothing and shoes and excellent customer service to Mariposa locals and visitors alike.

Back 2 Basics Clothing

HistoryOur family has been camping our entire lives. We've done it all, from a tent to a tent trailer, from the travel trailer to the Class A motorhome. It wasn't until we rented our first teardrop trailer were we able to find the true joy and easiest method of camping we've ever experienced. Set up was quick and easy, without batteries to charge, tanks to dump or water levels to ration. We did not have to break down camp for our sightseeing travels and we slept like never before, exposed to nature without the exposure of a tent, on a memory foam queen size mattress. No different than the biggest of Class A motorhomes without the hassle. We enjoy camping so much more now that we wanted to share our experience with others and so we started Back2Basics Camping LLC.SpecialtiesWe rent Little Guy/Teardrop Trailers and provide all of your camping needs so all you have to bring is your food! No need for a large truck or SUV! Trailers can be towed behind most vehicles including 4-cylinder cars.
