Vagabond's House
HistoryBuilt 1929 to 1932 and named The Vagabond's House in 1946 for then famous author Don Blanding who penned several novels with us, including the poem Vagabond's House. Purchased in 1976 by Denny Levett and now owned by his daughter Amanda Levett and managed by Thomas Rogers (former owner of Arco Iris Guest House in Puerto Vallarta). The highly upgraded modern rooms cleverly reference vintage artifacts, such as water closets wallpapered with old books, reclaimed barn wood for sliding doors, mid century modern lobby furnishings and other unique and creative examples.Specialties7 more rooms just beautifully upgraded to include luxury bathrooms with heated marble floors. All rooms with large Smart HDTV. New Lobby. New courtyard features like stone and steel fire pit. Proud to support our local farmers market and organic food producers whenever possible.
