Flood Park is a twenty-one-acre urban oasis in the middle of Menlo Park. The park has twenty-seven drop-in family picnic sites and six group picnic areas.
Flood Park is famous for its large native oak and bay trees. The Park has facilities for many activities, such as swimming, softball, tennis, horse shoes, volleyball and petanque.
The grounds are busiest during the summer months; visitors can often find families picnicking, children playing in the playground and softball teams using the large diamond.
