Terman Middle School opened in October 1999 as the third middle school in the Palo Alto Unified School District. The diverse student body of 700 is supported by nearly 70 teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, food service workers and administrative staff.
Home of the Tigers, Terman's school colors are gold and black and were chosen by students when the school opened.
Terman's mission is to be "an inclusive community of students, families, and educators engaged in achieving high academic and social standards with respect for diversity in a positive school climate."
