The 11th member to join the Vintner’s Association, Fess Parker Winery has a long history in Santa Barbara Wine Country. The estate vineyard, named for Fess’s late son-in-law, Rodney Shull, is renowned for the quality of its Rhône varietals, having been called “an emerging grand cru site” by famed wine critic Robert Parker. Long-term contracts with some of the finest vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Maria AVA’s are the fruit sources for the winery’s Burgundian offerings. The winery is well known for its small-lot, vineyard-designated, and clonal selection Rhône and Burgundian varietals.
