Call now and mention Yelp to get a Free Brief Phone Consultation. Why mediate your divorce? If you chose to hire a divorce lawyer, you will enter an adversarial process, driven by your lawyers, in which you will be passive. Litigation tends to be a very expensive ($20,000-$100,000) and slow (2-5 years) process. Fighting in court pits mother and father against each other, and harms you, your children, and your ability to co-parent effectively. If you chose to mediate your divorce, you will become an active participant in your marriage's dissolution and resolve all related issues according to what you think is fair and economically feasible. Mediation is much less expensive than litigation ($5,500 maximum if you use my services) and the parties decide the pace (typically 4-6 months). We will work together to resolve all issues through compromise and by considering each other's values and perspectives. Agreements will be creative and tailored to your unique, individual situations.
