The Fairfield Visual Arts Association is a non-profit organization of visual artists and friends of the arts working in collaboration with the community to promote artistic creativity, education and expression. The Fairfield Visual Arts Association ( FVAA ) was established in 1962 to encourage artists to create and exhibit their work for the cultural benefit of the community. Our art shows, events and gatherings aid in sustaining art in our community and by presenting local artists the opportunities to learn, teach, and assist each other in their creative fields. We host several annual gallery shows each year at the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts, we operate the Art Explosion Gallery and Art Studio in Downtown Fairfield and two art fairs, Art on the Vine at Wooden Valley Winery and Artoberfest at Ledgewood Creek Winery. FVAA hosts general meetings two to four times per year to bring members together to socialize, receive updated information and to vote on FVAA business.
