In 1924, Fairfax High School opened its doors. It was named for Lord Fairfax of Colonial America. The school's motto is "Fare Fac," which means "Say and Do." Fairfax High School is home to the Lions and is located at the intersection of Fairfax Avenue and Melrose Avenue. Fairfax High School has been recognized for its high achievements in music and athletics.
