Extended Child Care is a community-based private, nonprofit organization that has been providing care and support services for children and their families since 1978. It conducts various before- and after-school programs for children in kindergarten through grade six. In addition, the organization maintains a staff of teachers and supervisors who offer 24-hour emergency assistance services. Extended Child Care helps in the social, emotional and intellectual development of children. It serves a variety of nutritious meals and snacks. The organization provides treatment options for children who from various diseases, such as diarrhea, chicken pox, rubella and measles. Extended Child Care offers financial assistance and counseling services.
