Jackson Street School is an elementary institute that serves students in grades five through eight. The school offers instruction in physical education, band and choir. It features computer laboratories with Internet access, as well as a media center, gymnasium and multipurpose room. Jackson Street School also provides opportunities to participate in intramural and inter-scholastic competitive basketball activities. The school administers English Language Learners, special education, and gifted and talented programs. In addition, its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.
