Escondido High School offers academic programs to students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes fine arts, English, literature, speech, health, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. It offers sports activities, such as cross country, field hockey, football, golf, volleyball, soccer, water polo, basketball, ice hockey, lacrosse, baseball and swimming. Its guidance and counseling department assist in finding information about college preparation, course selections, scholarships and financial aid. Its music department offers classes in orchestra, dance and band. Escondido High School s music boosters association is a nonprofit organization who builds partnerships with the school, parents, students and community. Its parent club provides scholarships to graduating seniors and members volunteer in all areas of the campus, including the library, office, school pictures and Freshman orientation.
