Encinitas Country Day School's 12-acre campus is in a picturesque setting that overlooks the Escondido Creek. Currently students from kindergarten through eighth grade attend, but future plans include a high school campus. Elementary students are taught an expanded Montessori program that includes art, geography, music, history, botany, zoology and physical sciences. Middle school students are organized into groups of 16 or fewer that share the same schedule, homeroom class and supervisor. Each class has indoor and outdoor learning environments. The campus has a vegetable garden, orchard and a large sports field.
