History
Printer's Ink was born when Jake and Inky Knapp began their printing business in the 1960s, producing printed materials out of their garage in Woodland, California. In 1972 they moved the company to Sacramento, California. They opened a 2nd location in 1974 on Elm Street in Woodland. A year later they sold the Sacramento office. Printer's Ink was moved to its current location at 459 Cleveland Street, Woodland, California in 1988. Jake and Inky retired in 2005, moving to a beach town in Oregon. Their son Jerry Knapp took on the task of continuing the family business. Although the printing industry has changed over the decades, the goal of Printer's Ink has remained the same: excellence in customer service, producing high quality printed materials, keeping up with technology, and meeting and/or exceeding customers' expectations.
