History
Emanuel Lutheran Church has been part of the Santa Barbara community since 1915, and in our current location on Modoc Road since 1969. Previously to building our current facility, we were located at Olive and Figueroa Streets. Emanuel has launched two other Lutheran congregations in the area that continue to thrive today - Good Shepherd Lutheran in Goleta, and Faith Lutheran Church in Carpinteria. Emanuel Lutheran Church is part of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Please feel free to call or stop by to set up an appointment with our pastor to find out what this means, and why you could and should consider becoming part of our growing ministry.
