History
Started in 1950 as a supplier of materials to the building trades, Douglas and Sturgess has offered as our primary product line flexible mold making materials that are used for reproducing everything from architectural embellishments to fine art sculpture. Acting as a bridge between the industrial world and the creative one, Douglas and Sturgess has been able to offer a line of products that might otherwise be available only to large manufacturers. As technology has taken the industrial world to more efficient applications and materials over the last 60 years, we too have been able to offer these same materials to the fine artist. Staying true to the core beliefs established by our founders, we offer not only excellent products, but also the knowledge to get even the absolute novice started in successfully applying our products to your endeavor.
