I've been in practice for over 25 years, treating individual adults and adolescents, as well as couples, and frequently providing family or group psychotherapy experiences, including a seminar for single women considering becoming pregnant through donor insemination or adoption. My background is diverse and consistently reflects changes in our culture and the culture of psychotherapy.

Clearly the pandemic has provided new sources of stress for most of us, as well as exacerbated any previous anxiety or depression. Whether you live alone or in a partnership there may be greater challenges to emotional wellness than ever. I think learning about yourself in-depth is the straightest road to achieving good mental health. I've taken this path to self-awareness with many people over my years of practice, and the journey always proves to be an exciting and importantly, productive one. Most people desire to avoid future repetition of mistakes. In order to accomplish this my approach with individuals as well as couples is to help them uncover beliefs or past experiences that interfere with making better choices.
