The Discovery Learning Center of Santa Cruz is operated by the Discovery Santa Cruz Home/School Group and works to help enhance home-based education for children in pre-K through fifth grade. The center has a lending library and offers access to more than 2,000 selections of educational materials, including books, electronics, puzzles, toys, activity kits, games and other items. The center also has various types of activities and classes operated by volunteers, including flea markets, creative writing, math activities, workshops and more.
