Dr. Dena E. Moskowitz is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in urogynecology, female pelvic medicine and minimally invasive reconstructive surgery. Her clinical interests include female urinary incontinence and voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse (vaginal and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery), overactive bladder, fistula repair, urethral diverticulum, neurogenic bladder and urinary obstruction. Moskowitz earned her medical degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She completed both an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at the UCI School of Medicine, followed by fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Before attending medical school, she earned a master's of science degree in physical therapy at UC San Francisco/San Francisco State University. Her research interests include pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. She is the author or co-author of numerous studies that have appeared in prestigious peer-reviewed journals.
